FOR only a little more than a song, buyers can enact their dream of living in a cabin in the woods.

Just outside of Mackay is Hazledean, the name of a small township and also a property at 15 Ball St, the perfect getaway for either the adventurer, the romantic, or the recluse.

Remax agent Hayley Van de Ven said that the property is 'cute as a button' and describes the cabin as if it were 'straight out of Dr Quinn Medicine Woman'.

The property is up for auction on June 2, on behalf of the Wiri Yuwiburra Community Benefits Trust, with the property now surplus to the requirements of the Trust.
