Three injured in Mackay crash on Connors Rd roundabout, Paget

Paramedics have rushed to a two car crash at a roundabout that flipped a ute, left another sideways and a power pole almost destroyed.

Paramedics have just arrived on scene at a shocking crash in Paget which left one ute sideways, another on its back and a power pole destroyed.

The collision took place around 2.30pm on Sunday at the Connors Rd and Paradise St roundabout in Paget.

Three people, a boy in his teens and men in their 30s, 50s, are currently being assessed by paramedics, a Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman confirmed.

The male in his 30s is stable, while the man in his 50s and teenager have suffered from chest, abdominal injuries.

The man in his 50s also has injuries to his leg.

All managed to extricate themselves from the vehicles despite the heavy damage taken to the cars in the collision.

A Queensland Police Service spokesman said police were called to the crash site following reports of two vehicles into a power pole.

Ergon Energy will also be called to assess the scene.
