A Mackay man wants to change his loved ones’ lives after winning a staggering amount of money in the lotto.

On Tuesday February 25 the Mackay father bought a ticket that turned out to be worth $15m on the The Lott app, turning his life upside down.

“Holy f***ing s***,” he said.

“Are you kidding me?!”

With $15m in his back pocket his first instinct was to call his partner and parents and said his mum would wouldn’t believe it.

“My mum is really in to lotteries,” he said.

“I’m really trying to wrap my head around it all myself. I can’t believe this. Oh my god!”

The stunned man aims to use his new found wealth to give back to his loved ones.

“I’ll help my friends and family who have been really struggling,” he said.

“I can’t wait to make their lives easier...I’m very grateful, very blessed.”
