A crime scene has been declared after an unoccupied two-storey building was gutted by fire on Sunday.

A crime scene has been declared after an unoccupied two-storey building in Logan was gutted on Sunday.

Queensland Fire crews responded to reports of flames issuing from a building on Linda St, Kingston, at around 5.56am, with four crews attending.

“The initial indication is that no one was inside,” a Queensland Fire Department spokesman said.

“The two-storey home was well involved. The fire was extinguished at 6.20am and crews conducted a search and no one was located inside the property.”

Fire Investigators and Queensland Police remained at the scene Sunday morning to investigate the cause of the blaze.
