THE sad passing of one of the region's well-known golf professionals has paved the way for someone new to make the most of a stunning country Ipswich property.
Wycombe is a 65-hectare house and property perched alongside the historic Mt Mort district, boasting beautiful views of the Little Liverpool Range and no shortage of room to run livestock.
The property was held in the Davidson family for nearly 40 years.
Previously owned by Ken Davidson, the well-known Ipswich golf professional, and his wife Audrey, the property is now being sold by the Executors of the Will to finalise the estate.

Agent Barry Quinn said the property included a home and separate cottage and had a sealed access road and was close to Rosewood.
The Davidson's built the three-bedroom double brick house in 1983 in an elevated position facing northeast, overlooking the Mt Mort valley.
"The 65 hectares of mixed land types includes about seven hectares of fertile alluvial flats that have previously been cultivated," Mr Quinn said.
"The balance of country is made up of undulating Ironbark ridges with good timber on offer.
"The farm has carried up to 30 breeders or will fatten up to 60 steers when dryland oats are planted on the cultivation.
"Ken had established a five hole golf course at Wycombe, the shape of which can still be seen today."
Wycombe has a bore and three spring and natural catchment dams.
A 1200-litre rainwater tank services the kitchen and bathroom for the house.
Features of the house include a billiard room, guest rooms and a pool.
Other improvements include a large powered fully concreted 80x20m foot steel shed, cattle yards with loading ramp, chook pen and round yard.
