Zillmere man arrested over alleged machete attack in Brisbane carpark
Police have arrested and charged a man with seriously assaulting another man with a machete in a north Brisbane carpark over the weekend.

A man was allegedly slashed with a machete during a carpark dispute in Zillmere over the weekend.
Police will allege there was a disturbance between two men in the carpark of a unit complex on Duffy Street around 4.30am on Saturday, December 30.
It is alleged one of the men produced a machete during the incident and struck the other man with it.
The 31-year-old alleged victim was admitted to hospital with a deep laceration to his arm.
Police arrested a 35-year-old Zillmere man today in Stafford.
He has been charged with acts intended to maim/disfigure/disable and is due to face Brisbane Magistrates Court on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
Earlier, police released a vision of a man who they believed could assist them with their investigations.
At that time, they requested anyone who may have seen the man or have information to contact police.
