Tributes are flowing for beloved Lowood father of three Jarryd Miller as police continue to investigate the circumstances of his death.
A homicide investigation commenced yesterday, January 2, after Mr Miller was found dead in a Lowood home.
Emergency services were called to a Walnut Street address in Lowood around 5am, and forensic investigators remained on scene throughout the day.
Loved ones have started sharing tributes online to remember the “loving family man”, who leaves behind a partner and three children.
Close friend Samantha Hall shared how Mr Miller “always put his family first and foremost”.
“He would be going crazy to see that his family can’t even go back to their home, everything has been taken from them,” she said.
“He was my best friend for the last 13 years and my most favourite drinking buddy.
“He was always busy with his hands, always trying fix things (even if they weren’t broken).”
Ms Hall started a GoFundMe to raise funds for Mr Miller’s partner and children.
“Jarryd has been a huge part of so many people’s life and experiences and definitely deserves the best send off we can give him,” she said.
Mr Miller’s sister Courtney shared her devastation on the fundraiser page.
“I can’t believe your gone,” Ms Miller said.
“My heart not only breaks for me but for your beautiful family that is now left to live life without you.
“You will be forever missed my brother.”
Investigations are continuing.
