Darra man charged over drug trafficking and stolen property discovery
A Darra man has been charged with trafficking heroin after police targeting a drug syndicate raided a house and restaurant, where they also found almost $1 million-worth of cash and stolen property.

Almost $1 million-worth of cash and allegedly stolen property has been found at a home in Darra and a linked restaurant during a drug raid by police.
Acacia Ridge detectives will allege a 61-year-old Darra man was selling heroin in the area, after they allegedly found drugs at the Cintra Street property and a restaurant on Darra Station Road. Police also uncovered almost $1 million of stolen property and cash.
The stolen property included tools, high end designer clothing and accessories, electrical goods, alcohol, firearms and cash.
The arrest came as part of Operation Uniform Zythos targeting drug trafficking in Durack and Darra, where detectives identified sophisticated syndicate of drug trafficking, where some customers were paying for drugs with stolen goods.
It will be further alleged that these stolen goods were then sold into the community through local markets.
The man was charged with one count of trafficking dangerous drugs and three counts of possession of dangerous drugs (heroin), possession of property used in the commission of a crime, possession of property obtained from trafficking a dangerous drug (cash) and receiving tainted property.
He will reappear in the Richlands Magistrates Court on November 8.
Police are working to identify the owners of the stolen property.
