Daniel Graeme Bartlett, 24 of Regency Downs, Judd Mitchell Lees, 35 of Rosewood, and Reece Andrew Saxelby, 33 of Lowood, each stand charged with one count each of attempted murder.

Police will allege the three men were involved in the shooting of a 32-year-old man at a Coominya home on April 8, 2023.

At that time, police confirmed they had received reports of shots fired at a Rocky Gully Road property.

A police spokesman said they had discovered a man with multiple gunshot wounds, who was flown to hospital in a serious condition.

Mr Bartlett and Mr Lees’ matters were both mentioned in Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on December 8.

Their legal representatives said they had received requests for forensic procedure orders for each defendant, which were both consented to.

Mr Lees’ defence lawyer Matthew Fairclough said he had received a large brief of evidence to review, including 29 hours of footage and around 70 witness statements.

He asked for an adjournment until February to review the evidence and seek instructions from his client.

Mr Lees and Mr Bartlett’s matters were adjourned to February 16, 2024, and both men were remanded in custody.

Mr Saxelby’s matter was not mentioned on this occasion.

He will next face court on January 19, 2024.
