Police are investigating after a truck involved in a crash near Gympie allegedly failed to stop on Friday, April 11.
Emergency services were called to a crash involving a car pulling a caravan and a white B-double truck on the Wide Bay Highway at Lower Wonga, between Gympie-Woolooga Road and Hayes Road, about 8.30am.
Initial investigations indicate the incident resulted in the caravan rolling onto its side and blocking one eastbound lane.
The car was not impacted, and the driver and passenger were not injured.
Police believe the truck involved did not stop.
Police are investigating and are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage of that area around that time featuring a white B-double, to contact police.
Investigations are ongoing.
