Emergency services called to Gympie after motorcycle crash

A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital by the Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter after an incident on Saturday afternoon.
An RACQ LifeFlight Rescue spokesperson said the aeromedical crew was tasked to the scene, north-west of Gympie, just after 12.30pm.
The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service Flight Paramedic treated the rider for back injuries.
“The man, aged in his 30s, was then airlifted to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital,” the spokesperson said.
“He travelled in a stable condition.”
