A driver has had a lucky escape from serious injury in an early morning crash on the main road to the Gympie Music Muster site near Amamoor.

A driver has had a lucky escape from serious injury after her car collided with a cow on the main road leading into Amamoor, which is in the middle of playing host to the 2024 Gympie Music Muster.
Emergency crews were called to the scene of the crash, at Blackgate Rd, about 5.45am Friday.
A QAS spokeswoman said the woman, in her 50s, was uninjured in the crash.
Police confirmed the cow had to be put down due to its injuries.
The road into the Mary Valley town, about 15km southwest of Gympie, has been host to a massive increase in traffic with tens of thousands of people headed into the Amamoor State Forest to enjoy the 2024 Gympie Music Muster, which started on Thursday and continues until Sunday.
