Around 4am Saturday morning RACQ Capricorn Rescue was tasked by Queensland Health to attend a Maude Hill Road property, Deepwater, after an alleged altercation involving three men aged 54, 52 and 51.

An hour earlier, a Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the 52-year-old man allegedly attended and confronted the two other men.

The former allegedly produced a knife and inflicted multiple wounds resulting in deep lacerations to the 54-year-old man’s upper and lower arm on a rural property south of Agnes Water, near Deepwater.

The man was assessed by the on-board doctor and flight paramedic and was treated for potential life-threatening injuries, before being flown to Bundaberg Base Hospital in a serious but stable condition for further treatment.
