Gladstone police have released a comfit image of a man they believe could help with their investigations into a break and enter at Miriam Vale.

About 4.30am on January 1, two unknown men gained entry to the a service station through a window and the back door.

Once inside the pair were spooked by an employee starting their shift.

The men then left with a bag belonging to the employee and drove a car south towards Bundaberg.

Police are wishing to speak to a man resembling the comfit, described as between 35 to 40-years-old, of proportionate build, approximately 175cms tall with acne scarring to his cheeks and light stubble.
