Disturbing footage, allegedly of a 15-year-old girl being bashed in a car park at a local library can be revealed.
Police will allege the video was taken on Saturday at Hayes Rd, Boyne Island in the Gladstone region.
In a video recording, viewed by this publication, a teenage girl can allegedly be seen repeatedly punching, as well as kneeing, the 15-year-old to the head, and telling her to “get up”.
The alleged victim can be heard saying “no, I just want to go home”.
This publication has confirmed the girl, who cannot be identified, was taken to hospital.
The girl’s mother claims her daughter did not know her alleged attacker or the group with the alleged offender.
Police will allege that she was forced to hand over her mobile phone which was later found smashed in nearby bushes.
Another teen, who is also 15 and cannot be identified, was charged with assaults occasioning bodily harm while armed/in company, stealing and wilful damage.
Bail was refused and she was set to be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act in the Gladstone Children’s Court on July 1.
