Goofy, sassy and enthusiastic are just some of the ways Chloe Teske would describe her daughter Rivah.
The mum-of-one and her partner Tyler Teske welcomed her into the world on January 28.
Now almost 11 months on, the Lockyer Valley has voted Rivah as the district’s cutest bub, in The Gatton Star’s online poll.
“(I’m not sure why the public fell in love with her) but she has a very cute face and beautiful, big blue eyes,” Ms Teske said.
“We’re starting to notice her little personality coming out and she’s a real mix of me and her father.
“She’s the sass queen.”
Often the centre of attention and making others laugh, Rivah is happiest when she’s outside or around dogs and often shakes in both situations, unable to contain her excitement.
Despite little Rivah being an “angel” and sleeping about 14 hours a night, Ms Teske said they were content with having just one child.
“It’s going to sound really cliche and (other parents) hate when I say it, but she is honestly the best baby,” Ms Teske said.
“She’s a great sleeper and very independent … it’s been seamless.”
Ms Teske said her daughter was definitely a daddy’s girl and had him “wrapped around her little finger.”
With a family filled with boys on Mr Teske’s side, relatives were convinced Rivah would be a boy, but her mum always had a feeling she was a girl.
The couple have big plans to celebrate their daughter’s first birthday next month, with jumping castles and petting zoos already lined up.
And when it comes to giving advice to her “little bestie” Ms Teske said she hopes Rivah continues to be her “goofy, weird self.”
