Three hospitalised in Maryborough after jumping from a train near Oakhurst

Three people have been rushed to Maryborough Hospital after it was reported they leapt from a moving train.

Three people were taken to Maryborough Hospital late Saturday night after they reportedly jumped from a moving train at 11.30pm.

The Queensland Ambulance Service arrived to a stretch of train tracks near Oakhurst before midnight and assessed three patients with minor injuries.

It was reported to ambos that the three had leapt from a goods train as it passed through the area.

They were taken to hospital in a stable condition.
