Woman busted travelling at 128km/h in 80 zone on Bruce Highway
A 21-year-old woman has been slugged with a stiff fine and lost more than half the points on her licence after allegedly being caught excessively speeding along the region’s main highway.

A 21-year-old Southside woman has allegedly been busted travelling at 128km/h in an 80km zone on the Bruce Hwy near Maryborough on March 21.
Police said in a media release at 7.41am officers allegedly intercepted a black Mazda 3 travelling at 128km/h at Tinana.
The Southside woman driving the car received an infringement for $1780 and lost eight demerit points.
She will also receive an automatic six-month licence suspension for driving 40km/h over the speed limit.
During the school holidays, police have reminded motorists to always be mindful of the Fatal Five when they get into a vehicle – speeding, drink/drug driving, lack of seatbelts, fatigue and driver distraction.
