The wife of a man allegedly killed in a one-punch attack on the Fraser Coast watched on in court as his alleged attacker was committed for trial.

A young father charged over the death of another man after an alleged coward punch will take the matter to trial later this year.
Joshua Trevor Berrigan, 25, is facing a charge of unlawful striking causing death following an alleged attack on the Fraser Coast in August 2023, that resulted in the death of Nathan Isaac McPherson, 43, the following day.
Mr McPherson, a father of six, died in the Royal Brisbane Hospital on Sunday, August 20, 2023 after he was involved in an altercation near the intersection of Kent and Richmond Streets in Maryborough about 2.30am on Saturday, August 19, 2023.
The matter was mentioned before Maryborough Supreme Court on Tuesday.
Judge Peter Davis ordered that lists of witnesses to be called, statements from witnesses, exhibits to be tendered and transcripts to be tendered to be provided before the trial.
The trial is expected to take place in October and is expected to take about five days.
Mr McPherson’s wife, Carina, was in court for the mention.
The matter was adjourned to the next sitting of Maryborough Supreme Court.
