A young father charged over an altercation that allegedly caused the death of another man has had his matter mentioned in court.
Joshua Trevor Berrigan, 23, is facing one charge of unlawful striking causing death following an incident last year, after which Nathan Isaac McPherson, 43, died.
Mr McPherson died in the Royal Brisbane Hospital on Sunday, August 20, following the alleged altercation near the intersection of Kent and Richmond streets in Maryborough about 2.30am on Saturday, August 19.
The matter was briefly mentioned before the Maryborough Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
No plea has been entered.
The matter was adjourned until October 15, 2024.
