A man aged in his 40s has been taken to hospital after a tractor crash on the Bruce Highway near Tiaro.

A man aged in his 40s has been taken to hospital after a tractor crash on the Bruce Highway near Tiaro.

Police said the tractor had clipped some bushes before the crash.

The crash happened at 12.39pm on Wednesday about 1km north of Tiaro, the spokeswoman said.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the man had suffered abdominal injuries in the incident.

He was taken to Maryborough Hospital in a stable condition.
