Monster inflatable pool parties to kick off this February

The annual inflatable pool parties will return to the Western Downs this month after a successful few years. Find out more.

SPLISH SPLASH: The Western Downs Regional Council pool party is hitting Dalby this weekend.

The much beloved Western Downs pool parties will return next month with events from Jandowae to Wandoan.

Partnering with Lifesaving Services Australia, council will host monster inflatable pool parties for residents to keep cool over the summer month.

Held between 10am and 2pm at local pools, the events will be just $2 to enter and food and drink will be available for purchase.

In a pres release Western Downs Regional Council Community and Cultural Development spokesman Peter Saxelby said he was excited to see return of the event.

“We consistently receive wonderful feedback, particularly from our youth, about how much they enjoy these events” Mr Saxelby said.

“Late last year, in November, hundreds of locals joined our pool parties and the 2025 program kicks off in Jandowae with pool parties in Moonie, Wandoan and Meandarra.

“It’s amazing that we can host even more of these events with the help of the team at LSA to celebrate the summer season.

“Don’t miss out on the fun.”

Jandowae: Sunday February 2 10am – 12pm, Jandowae Swimming Pool

Meandarra: Saturday February 8 10am – 12pm, Meandarra Swimming Pool

Moonie: Sunday February 9 10am – 12pm, Moonie Swimming Pool

Bell: Saturday February 22 10am – 12pm, Bell Swimming Pool

Wandoan: Sunday February 23 10am – 12pm, Wandoan Swimming Pool
