Man armed with shotgun enters Rockhampton business, demands money from staff

It is the second time this month the Central Queensland venue has been targeted by an alleged armed robber. See the video footage of this week’s incident here.

Police are appealing for information after a man armed with a shotgun entered a business in North Rockhampton and demanded money from staff, in the early hours of Wednesday.

It is the second time this month the Little Musgrave Street business has been targeted, although police do not believe the latest incident is linked to another alleged armed robbery there on December 6.

Police have released video footage of Wednesday’s incident, which happened just after 2am.

The man can be seen raising the shotgun as he walks through the glass door.

After receiving a sum of money, he flees the business on foot towards Little Musgrave Street.

The man was wearing a black hoodie, light coloured jeans, grey sneakers, grey cap and a face mask.

Police investigators are asking anyone who may have seen a person matching this description in the area around the time of the incident or with any dashcam footage to come forward.
