UPDATE 4.38pm: POLICE are continuing their investigation into the disappearance of 18-year-old Belgian backpacker Theo Hayez.
Three weeks after he was last seen leaving Cheeky Monkeys Bar on Jonson St, Byron Bay on May 31, a NSW Police spokeswoman said search operations will be continued to be reviewed each day.
"Investigations will continue, they'll determine search operations each day," the spokeswoman said.
"Police will continue to liaise with Theo's family."

Theo, 18, was last seen leaving Cheeky Monkeys Bar on Jonson St, Byron Bay about 11pm on May 31, exactly three weeks ago today.
A NSW Police Spokesperson said Tweed Byron Police District officers will resume their search for missing Belgian backpacker tomorrow.
"Today's search involved resources from the NSW Police Dog Unit, Police Rescue, Police divers and remotely piloted aircraft (drones) at and around the Tallow Beach area," the spokesperson said.
"The search will continue tomorrow utilising the same resources.
"Police continue to liaise with Theo's family and update them with the investigation."
Meanwhile, community volunteers are gathering again to assist in the search, this time meeting at the Broken Head Caravan Park from 10am.
"Although the weather is not on our side today, we will still be going ahead with the search for Theo," community search organiser Noeline Smith wrote on social media.
"Please wear hooded wet weather gear, long pants and shirt of thicker material and good, sturdy shoes or boots.
"Bring water and snacks for yourself.
"All volunteers must sign on before going out to search and it is imperative, that all volunteers sign off at Base Camp before leaving.
"This is to ensure everybody's safety."
