A 16-year-old boy has suffered critical injuries and police are appealing for dashcam footage following a crash between a trail bike and ute at Bundaberg.

A 16-year-old trail bike rider has been left with life-threatening injuries after a crash at Bundaberg South.
The crash happened about 2.30pm on Friday when a Kawasaki KXF motorcycle was travelling east along Burnett Street and stuck the side of a Mitsubishi Triton utility near Hunter Street.
The rider, a 16-year-old Avoca boy, received life-threatening injuries and was transported to Bundaberg Hospital for treatment.

The driver, a 63-year-old Bullyard man, was not physically injured.
Witnesses, or anyone with relevant dashcam vision, is urged to come forward.
Investigations are continuing.
