A young dance teacher-turned racy model, found with a collection of MDMA, cocaine and cannabis, has been warned to steer clear of a ‘fantasy’ world which glamorises drug use.

Brianna Jodie Louise Johnson pleaded guilty in Bundaberg Supreme Court to possessing dangerous drugs and utensils.

The court heard the 20-year-old previously taught dance to special needs children and was also formerly from Bundaberg but now lived on the Gold Coast.

She had not been able to work with children since her drug charges affected her Blue Card status and was said to have been ‘self-employed’ since 2019.

The NewsMail and Fraser Coast Chronicle can reveal Johnson, who goes by ‘Bree Louise’ on various social media platforms, has garnered a following of thousands on Tik Tok for her dance prowess and on adult entertainment hub Only Fans for more risque content.

Police executed a search warrant of Johnson’s home at the Bundaberg suburb of Sharon on April 21, 2020.

It was there they found six bags of MDMA in a drawer under the TV in her bedroom.

The roughly evenly sized bags contained a total of 28.447g grams of crystal, of which 17.595g was pure MDMA.

Police also found two small bags of cocaine, containing .78g of the drug, with two cut straws in one of the bags.

Johnson, who was 18 at the time, admitted she had been using the cocaine and told police she had purchased the MDMA because she “hadn’t had any in a long time”.

A number of water pipes were found as well as two electric grinders and 231g of cannabis which was in the kitchen.

Barrister Nick Larter said Johnson made admissions in a police interview.

He said that along with previously teaching dance, his client had a Certificate IV in education support and also spent time working as a teachers’ aide in Hervey Bay.

Johnson had no other criminal history.

Reports of two clear drug tests were tendered to the court, with exception made for traces of cannabis from legal medicinal products used to treat Johnson’s anxiety.

Mr Larter said a remorseful Johnson had made genuine attempts to improve her life in the past 18 months and had moved away from drug offending.

“She really has put her life back on a positive path,” he said.

The court heard Johnson had a hard life and suffered depression and anxiety, leading Justice Crow to term her a “somewhat unusual offender”.

“You have had a difficult upbringing and then it appears from a very young age you worked very hard, you did very well, which is to your credit,” he said.

Justice Crow said young people were often tempted into drugs by peers, but warned there was nothing glamorous about substances which had the potential to ruin lives.

“It is pleasing to see through your negative drug tests that you’ve turned your back on those dangerous drugs because there’s no doubt in my mind at all that if you continued on the path that you had previously (been on) with taking MDMA, cocaine and non-prescription cannabis that your life would be a wreck, which is very sad,” he said.

“It appears that drugs are promoted by, in the media, by many TV shows, by press as being something all young people do or have to do, it's often promoted that people that are successful get into drugs, in particular cocaine, but the TV shows are a fantasy, they are not real.”

Justice Crow said it was police, emergency services and the courts who saw the young lives and families who were wrecked by drug use.

Johnson was sentenced to two years’ jail but allowed immediate parole.
