Richard Milton Candy on driving charges in Bundaberg Magistrates Court

A Bundaberg driver facing a string of charges had a frank chat with the magistrate about his alleged behaviour.

A man on driving charges said it had been “a wild few months” as the details of his case were discussed in Bundaberg Magistrates Court.

Richard Milton Candy, 48, appeared before Magistrate Andrew Moloney.

He faces three charges of driving without a licence disqualified by a court order and one count of contravening the direction of police.

He is also charged with driving while a relevant drug is present in blood or saliva.

Candy is set to reappear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on November 25.

His bail will continue until then.
