Allan David John Madden charged with violent crimes in Bundaberg
A man accused of three counts of violence against a woman has appeared before a magistrate.

A man accused of three serious violent assaults on the same woman fronted Bundaberg Magistrates Court where it was heard his case would go before a trial in the district court.
Allan David John Madden appeared in court on Monday for a full committal hand-up of three charges comprising one count of common assault (domestic violence offence) and two counts of assaults occasioning bodily harm (domestic violence offences).
The court heard the charges related to an alleged common assault on December 13, 2021, and two alleged instances of assault occasioning bodily harm from December 11 and 23, 2021.
Numerous statements were handed to the court by police from several different people.
Mr Madden’s lawyer Christabelle Stafford-Smith told the court her client was willing to proceed to trial but had not yet entered a plea.
Magistrate John McInnes asked Mr Madden if he had any comments to make, but he responded “no”.
He is set to face the Bundaberg District Court at a later date.
Mr Madden remains on bail.
