Man hospitalised after violent Svensson Heights street attack
Police are hunting a driver who allegedly leapt from his car and slashed a stranger's arm during a wild attack at Bundaberg.

Police are investigating after a man’s arm was violently slashed in a road rage attack at Bundaberg on Thursday morning.
Around 2.40am, a 37-year-old pedestrian was walking along Enterprise Street in Svensson Heights when became involved in a verbal altercation with a driver passing by, a Queensland Police Service spokesperson said.
Police allege the driver pulled over, got out of his vehicle and attacked the pedestrian, slashing his arm before fleeing the scene.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and provided first aid before the man in his 30s was taken to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.
Officers are now combing through CCTV and dashcam footage and are urging witnesses to come forward.
While police say there is no ongoing threat to public safety, investigations into the attack are ongoing.
