Bruce Hwy lane cut as truck jackknifes at Takilberan, Qld

Drivers are being urged to avoid the Bruce Hwy north of Gin Gin after after a truck crash has closed a lane.

A truck driver has reportedly had a lucky escape after his rig “jackknifed” while travelling along the Bruce Hwy north of Gin Gin, cutting one lane.

Emergency crews were called to the scene of the crash on the major highway about 3.20pm after the truck crashed off the road.

The driver was reportedly able to leave the wrecked vehicle, which was now blocking the northbound lane of the Bruce Hwy.

Police are urging drivers to avoid the area.
