A semi-trailer driver has had a lucky escape after a crash earlier closed the Bruce Highway north of Gympie just a day after a 40-year-old truck driver died in a crash north of Rockhampton. UPDATES

One lane of the Bruce Highway has reopened after a semi-trailer crash north of Gympie.
Police reported that backed up traffic has been cleared and they have passed the incident onto traffic control.
Paramedics were called to the highway at Kanigan about 3am to reports a semi-trailer had rolled.
Photos from the scene from the trailer on its side in the middle of the road, and the cab of the truck off the road in a ditch.
Crews assessed a man in his 30s at the scene, but he was uninjured.
Police earlier advised both lanes of the Bruce Highway were closed, and delays were expected.
Local drivers, who lamented the number of truck crashes happening in the area, reported having to take a detour on a dirt road to get around the crash.
The crash also threw the school bus schedule off, with Gympie's Victory College requesting Glenwood students to catch the bus at Gunalada and Theebine students to meet at Dickabram Bridge.
It comes after a 40-year-old truck driver died in a crash on Monday north of Rockhampton.
Crews were called to a stretch of highway near Clairview about 11.40am where they found a truck which had rolled off the road.
Sadly, the Andergrove driver died at the scene.
