A chilling video is understood to be under investigation to determine if it shows cop-killers Stacey and Gareth Train sometime after murdering two police officers on their Wieambilla property.
The video, which is being verified to ascertain whether it features two of the three murderers was uploaded to a YouTube account, under the account name ‘Mrs Yugi Girawil’ and has since been deleted.
Crikey is reporting that the video, which is believed to be under investigation, was uploaded at 7.39pm on Monday, just hours after the shooting.
In the bizarre footage, a person who appears to be Gareth is filmed saying: “They came to kill us and we killed them. If you don’t defend yourself against these devils and demons, you’re a coward”.
The pair in the video then reference an unknown person named Don, telling them they love them and will see them when “they get home”.
Queensland Police Union president Ian Leavers described the video footage as “vile”.
“This vile murder confession from deranged anti-vaxxer, pro-gun, sovereign citizen conspiracy theorists should be instantly removed from media sites because that is exactly what these cold blooded executioners wanted,” he said.
“They wanted notoriety, publicity and fame for their evil, deranged and insane views and they should be de-platformed immediately and not have their evil amplified.”
Western Downs Mayor Paul McVeigh said he “absolutely” condemned this hateful video.
“I’d like to make the comment that we have absolute respect for our police and how they go about making our community safer,” Mr McVeigh said.
“We want them to work in a safe space, but there’s an element of our community who challenge that.
“The police force make sure we have a safe environment in our community and we need to support them.
“They’re an element of our community that we don’t want and want to get rid of.”
Four police officers were ambushed with a hail of bullets after they jumped the fence of a Wiambilla property about 4.40pm on Monday to do a welfare check on missing NSW man Nathaniel Train.
One officer was shot and made it back to his car while another fled into dense bushland and was hunted before being rescued by back up.
Two police hit during the initial barrage of bullets were executed where they fell.
The slain police officers were Constable Rachel McCrow, 26, and Constable Matthew Arnold, 29.
The two other police officers, Constable Keely Brough and Constable Randall Kirk, both aged 28, were chased and fired upon but managed to escape the shootout on the Western Downs property.
The four officers were sent in at the request of NSW Police, as Nathaniel had been reported missing in Walgett by his wife.
It has since been revealed the murderous family hid themselves in bushes and lay in wait for police to arrive at their rural home before opening fire with rifles from 40m away in what is being investigated as a premeditated plot.
They dressed in camouflage gear and installed trail cameras in the trees that sent notifications of movement.
Police had “no chance” to defend themselves or fight back, according to police officials – with a probe underway into why no-one realised the danger the young constables were unwittingly sent into.
Suspects Gareth Train, his brother Nathaniel, a former school principal who had been the subject of a missing persons notice by NSW Police, and Gareth’s wife Stacey Train – a former teacher – were killed in a subsequent police firefight.
Neighbour Alan Dare was also shot in the back and killed by the armed offenders after he came out to investigate the fire.
