Person sustains burns after Toowoomba property fire

Emergency service crews were called to an incident in Toowoomba which left one person with burns and requiring medical attention.

One person has been transported to Toowoomba Hospital for further treatment after they sustained burns in a fire.

Paramedics from the Queensland Ambulance Service and crews from Queensland Fire and Emergency Services were called to the scene after they received reports of a shed fire.

The incident occurred at a private property in Newtown on Saturday, just before 1pm.

One patient sustained minor burns as a result and they were transported to hospital in a stable condition.

The patient’s age and gender was not recorded.
