Multiple crashes: Toowoomba man rushed to hospital with head injury, Dalby man hit by car

Motorists are urged to be vigilant during the wet weekend following multiple crashes across the Toowoomba and Western Downs regions.

During a two vehicle crash at Harristown, Toowoomba, a young man suffered an injury to his head.

A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said the crash occurred on Friday, February 24, at 8.14pm.

“(He) was transported in a stable condition to Toowoomba Hospital,” she said.

The spokeswoman said west of Toowoomba at Dalby, a pedestrian was struck by a car on Cunningham Street at 2.24am on Saturday.

She said the man in his 60s was not seriously injured, however he was taken to hospital with injuries to his arm.
