MEXICAN restaurant Guzman y Gomez has launched its newest product in its two Toowoomba stores.
The new Chipotle Seasoned Fries are now available in the chain's Ruthven St and Grand Central outlets.
To make the new product, potatoes are washed and sliced before being tossed in a traditional Chipotle seasoning.
Hungry Toowoomba residents can then add a side of GYG's flavoursome dipping sauces which include Chipotle Mayo, Jalapeño Ketchup and Mex Chimmi Mayo - which is suitable for vegans.
"Our fries are made from real, quality ingredients and you won't feel guilty after eating them as they don't have any of the nasty stuff added to them like you might see in other fast food fries - they are whole potatoes, cooked in a canola oil blend and then seasoned to taste," founder and managing director of Guzman y Gomez Steven Marks said.
The launch of fries comes shortly after the chain announced it was rolling out drive-through, with 38 new restaurants coming to Australia by the end of next year, 24 of which will be drive-through.
But the drive-through stores won't be in Toowoomba, a spokesman confirmed.
