THE Barnaby Joyce saga has claimed a new victim - your taste buds.
Burger chain Burger Urge will tomorrow launch its new Barnaby Joyce-inspired burger, called the Big Bad Barnaby.
The burger features Angus beef "impregnated" with New England cheese, with tomato, beetroot, onion, egg, pineapple, lettuce and ketchup all on an extra-red beetroot bun.
Toowoomba franchisor Glenn Reimann said the burger was a bit of fun.
"Barnaby has been in the news a bit lately and we've jumped on board," he said.
"We're not getting involved in the political stuff. We're just here to sell burgers and have fun."
This is not the first time the burger chain has waded into political-themed burgers. They released both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump-themed burgers in the lead-up to the 2016 US presidential election.
Two years ago, the Clive Palmer Multi-Patty Burger generated lines around the block and last year's Please Explain, Pauline Hanson Burger sold out across all 24 Burger Urge outlets.
Mr Reimann said customers would have to get in quick if they wanted to try the burger from the store at the Intersection, Ruthven St.
"There is a 60 burger limit," he said. "They will go flying out the door."
