A FORMER bus station in the Toowoomba CBD could hold the solution to solving the city's parking issues.
Developers are reportedly planning on turning the former McCafferty's terminal in Neil St into a multi-storey car park.
That was left vacant with Greyhound Australia's recent move to a redeveloped Neil St Bus Interchange.
Mayor Paul Antonio said this new term of council would work hard to solve the parking woes that have plagued the Toowoomba CBD.
He plans on appointing two councillors to the infrastructure portfolio to ensure the parking problem is solved.
