Sunrise Way welcomes notable residents to board of drug rehabilitation clinic
TWO highly-regarded Toowoomba residents have joined the board of the city’s community-based drug and alcohol rehabilitation clinic Sunrise Way.

Business and community leader Liz Wagner and Clifford Gouldson Lawyers director Danny Clifford have joined the team as part of a shake-up for the organisation.
Sunrise Way chairman Jaden Frame said the new additions provide an immense skills and knowledge to support the organisation.
“It is great to see the calibre of skills and influence that come with Danny Clifford and Liz Wagner joining the Sunrise Way board,” he said.
“Their skill-set and expertise will assist in achieving our goals of sustainability and growth but also strengthen our governance.
“This is great news for the future of Sunrise Way.”
Mr Clifford joins the board with extensive legal experience in this area of law, with many of the region’s largest enterprises seeking his advice for both strategic direction and guidance.
He said he hoped to continue to support the legacy of the organisation.
“Sunrise Way is an extremely beneficial and important part of our local community, helping people through their challenges,” he said.
“I am proud and happy to be joining the board, and hope to build on and continue to grow the reputation of Sunrise Way, which has been quite amazingly created by other board members and employees.”
Liz Wagner will be bringing years of expertise to the organisation and her network and contributions to the not for profit sector is significant.
“I am honoured to be invited to join the board of Sunrise Way and excited to be part of supporting the continued growth and success of this organisation that makes a very real difference to the many people needing support in our community,” she said.
