St Vincent De Paul’s low-cost thrift store clothing just got cheaper with the charity announcing it will slash its prices by 50 per cent for the next three days.
The sale is on at all St Vinnies op shops in Queensland, with all money raised going to support families in need.
Vinnies Queensland’s Toowoomba Retail Operations Manager Adam Bruggeman invited
shoppers to hunt for unique finds with shelves restocked daily, offering stylish fashion pieces, unique home decor, and even the occasional designer gem
“With 12 new or refurbished shops opening across Queensland and a remarkable 6 per cent year-on-year sales growth, it’s clear that the love for second-hand shopping continues to soar,” he said.
“Our recent 50 per cent off sale in May and June was our biggest retail sales week ever, demonstrating just how much Toowoomba residents value the opportunity to shop sustainably and affordably.”
“The best part about op-shopping is that your next incredible find could be just around the corner, whether it’s a high-end winter coat or a unique piece of jewellery, there are thousands of items waiting for their next home, and the best part about shopping at Vinnies is that each purchase goes back to support Queenslanders in need.”
In the 2023-2024 financial year, Vinnies Queensland proudly sold 9.3 million preloved items, showcasing the increasing appeal of op-shopping in our community. Quality, undamaged donations are also accepted in-store throughout the sale.
St Vincent De Paul is a Catholic charity that supports vulnerable Queenslanders in need of hardship and disaster relief, housing support, aged care and financial support.
