Wanna hang ya boss out to dry?

Toowoomba Hospice administration and fundraising manager Mark Munro is encouraging staff to hang their boss out on Friday, May 28 for a good cause.

“We are asking businesses on the Darling Downs to ‘hang their boss out to dry’ by placing him or her in a scissor lift/cherry picker and raising it to the top,” Mr Munro said.

“The boss then must raise a minimum of $3000 from up in the air to be let back down.

“They can contact anyone they like to raise their money, so hopefully no-one will be left hanging.”

Funds raised go to the Toowoomba Hospice.

The hospice has cared for more than 1600 clients to a high standard of care, but to maintain that level of support, it relies heavily on the financial assistance of the community to fund an operating budget of $1.85m per annum.

The event will be held on Friday, May 28, from 6am onwards at the Harvey Norman Centre (910 – 932 Ruthven Street) with a live outside broadcast by Lee from the Triple M Breakfast Show.
