Taylor Swift announces new 'era' with exciting project, as an author

The singer will be adding yet another title to her already long list and fans can't wait to see it.

In the lead up to the final leg of The Eras Tour, Taylor Swift has announced two very special releases.

One of these is the long-awaited The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology vinyl and CD. But, the other is a new venture for the songbird, which will see her add ‘author’ to her already lengthy list of titles.

Taylor’s new ‘era’

After a month’s hiatus from social media, Taylor took to Instagram this week ahead of the final leg of the Eras Tour, which kicks off in Florida this Friday, October 18.

Though fans were hopeful for the announcement of Reputation (Taylor’s Version), the result was far more surprising, with Swift instead delving into publishing for the first time.

“Excited to announce that The Official Eras Tour Book, filled with my own personal reflections, never-before-seen behind the scenes photos, all the magical memories you guys brought every single night… [will be] available for the first time ever only at Target starting Nov 29th,” she said in the post.

The book will be 256 pages long, and is set to include over 500 images spanning all eras and aspects of the show.

But… will it be coming to Australia?

With the book announced as a Target exclusive in the US, launching in stores on Black Friday and then online the following day on November 30, Aussie Swifties who attended The Eras Tour earlier this year have flooded the singer’s comments section with questions around just when it will be hitting stores here in Australia.

“I’m gonna need someone who lives in the United States to buy this book and take a clear picture of each image because I unfortunately live in Australia,” one commenter said on TikTok.

“Pls bring it to Australia Taylor!” said another.

At the end of her post, Swift noted that information regarding international releases is on the way.

With previous Target exclusive launches coming to JB Hi-Fi shortly following, we have high hopes that Swifties across the country will be receiving it under the Christmas tree this year.
