‘90s and noughties fashion is well and truly back, with the return of low rise pants, skinny jeans and jelly sandals - just to name a few.
But, another old favourite has made a return to Kmart’s shelves, and while some are all for it, others have made it very clear they’ll be giving it a miss.

“90s girl fangirling!”
Facebook user Rachael Hallett has taken to Facebook this week to share her latest find at Kmart - butterfly clips.
“Yes, Kmart, 100 times yes,” she said in the post.
“90s girl fangirling.”
The clips are sold in a pack of 10, including a variety of bright, glittery shades. And, the best part is, the pack is just $5.

“Core memory reinstated!”
Commenters on the post were thrilled to be seeing butterfly clips again, sharing loving memories.
“Core memory reinstated!” said one person.
“I still have my school photo with the green ones in,” another shared.
“My daughter had these in the 90s she's late 30s now and I still have them I recently put them on my granddaughter and she loved them,” said a third.
Though not all the memories were quite as positive.
“With having three girls… these butterfly clips were worse than barbie shoes,” one person said.
“Wait till you step on them worse than Lego lol,” another agreed.
“Put these in my daughters hair when she was 14 months old and just walking (she’s now 25) she looked adorable [until] she pulled them out at play group and ate them,” said another.
“They were cute until they all snapped when I tried to put them in,” another person said.
Are we ready for them to come back?
Butterfly clips have long been around for kids, but as far as it making a comeback for adults, shoppers aren’t quite sure it’s going to happen.
“100 times no lol,” one commenter said.
“Seen a lady with these in the other day... Immediately cringed at a 40-year-old lady with 1990s children’s hair clips in.”
“They might be in the shops again, but I haven't seen anyone wearing them,” another added.
