We all know by now that parking in Sydney is nothing short of ridiculous.
Sure, the signs may seem fine when you’re standing still, but when you’re 10m away and moving? Completely impossible.
One Sydneysider has shared one of the worst yet - and I’ll be skipping this one, thanks.

“Sydney parking in a nutshell”
A Sydney local has taken to Reddit to share a ridiculous street sign.
“Sydney parking in a nutshell,” he said in the post.
The sign, confirmed to be on Miller Street in North Sydney, just north of the Blue Street intersection, is so tall it’s beginning to tip over, and consists of seven different signs in one. Seven!!
If you'd like to know what it actually means, thankfully someone dissected it in the comments.

Is this a joke?
A number of commenters joked sarcastically about the obscene sign.
“I reckon there’s room on top for a few more parking signs to cover the weekend,” one person said.
“Pisa would be proud,” another joked about its stature.
“This could be simplified so easily”
However, others had very legitimate concerns about the sign, criticising the unnecessary challenges it provides to drivers.
“This could be simplified so easily,” one person said.
“Plenty of big cities in the world do this in ways that are quick and easy to decipher. Sydney, not so much,” said another.
“If you pull in in order to ascertain whether you can legally park only to realise you’ve stopped in a ‘No Stopping’ period and are hit with a fine by a ‘brown bomber’ on stakeout then that is patently ridiculous and the system is flawed,” another person said.
“Yup need a phd to work it out,” a fourth person agreed.
“And the most important information in a font that is too small to read as you drive by!” another pointed out.
