Robert Irwin has done a Bonds shoot and we don't know where to look

This morning, Aussies were awoken to NSFW pictures of Robert Irwin plastered all over social media.

The son of late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin ditched the khakis for a shoot with iconic brand Bonds, and let’s just say, he’s not little Bob with the bowl cut anymore.

But, it’s because of this that everyone is so conflicted - should we look away?

Today, Robert was officially announced as a new ‘brand icon’ for Bonds, hand-in-hand with a racy photoshoot wearing nothing but his undies - and a few snakes.

The 21-year-old (yes, you read that right) confessed that he’d ‘done more sit-ups and had less carbs’ than ever before in preparation for the ‘Made for Down Under’ campaign - with the help of his family, of course.

"My brother-in-law Chandler, he's a professional athlete so he gave me a lot of great tips,” he said in an exclusive interview with People.

“And my mum actually did bodybuilding! She had more biceps then than I'll ever have!"

Whilst the news that Robert is hot now isn’t necessarily new, hired as the new piece of ‘eye candy’ on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! last year, replacing Dr Chris Brown in the role, that doesn’t make the sight any less jarring for mums who just don’t know where to look.

"I watched your birth episode!"

Needless to say, comments from mums everywhere seeing Robert’s washboard abs first thing in the morning were pretty bloody hilarious.

“Wait what… when did he.. how did he.. huh,” one woman commented on Instagram.

“Is this still April Fools,” said another.

“I'm conflicted. I watched your birth episode and now you look like this!! God Damn,” another mum said.

“Why does this feel so wrong but it’s soooo right!” said another.

“I feel like I'm now in my 'cougar' stage in life....” another joked.

“I just opened this app. Holy….” said another.

But, it wasn’t just mums getting in on the action. It’s pretty clear - everyone wants a piece of Rob.

“Christ alive.” said comedian, Rhys Nicholson.

“Rob my wife is on Instagram, mate. Please,” another commenter joked.

“I always knew he was cookin under all that khahi…” said another.

He's single! But...

For anyone seriously interested, in his interview with People, Robert did confirm a huge piece of news - he is single.

But, unless you’re from the US, you may be out of luck.

“I look at the ‘couple goals’ in my life. When Bindi and Chandler met, it was just meant to be. When my mum and dad met, it was this crazy, serendipitous, amazing moment that just was a fluke,” he said.

“Interestingly… everyone met here, at our wildlife sanctuary. And, on both instances, there were American tourists that were coming over and visiting the zoo. I’m waiting for that American tourist to come into the zoo!”
