Mums take their kids to commit an alleged crime at a restaurant

“The scums tried to run me over with their car. Can’t believe they had two kids with them.”

What are we supposed to do during school holidays when we don't have leave

A pair of women have been caught red handed in dramatic footage committing an alleged ‘dine-and-dash’, with young children in tow.

Employees at the London Chinese restaurant’s Facebook page say the the two mums walked out after their meal without paying their bill.

The pair could be forgiven if it were an innocent mistake, or slip of the memory, but the situation quickly escalated.

"This is crazy"

Staff from Pangs Chinese made an attempt to stop them, but they were unsuccessful.

This CCTV footage from outside shows an employee attempting to chase them down after they jumped into a white car before it speeds away.

The business shared the incident on Facebook in an attempt to identify the mothers.

“Dine and dash… this is crazy,” they wrote on the post.

“The scums tried to run me over with their car. Can’t believe they had two kids with them.”

The business has now made an official report to the police.

But it's also led to them needing to make changes to how diners experience a meal with them.

“We need to take payment up front for their sit down meals, from now on. Fed up chasing the people out the door,” they stated.

"Dine and dash scumbags"

Facebook commenters were outraged by the display.

“Absolute scumbags. No morals. I hope they get caught,” one person wrote.

“That’s shocking, thankfully everyone is ok and I hope they catch them and bring them to justice,” another wrote.

A third slams it as “outrageous behaviour.”

While theft of this sort is never okay, it’s even more troubling that it was carried out so carelessly with children.

They were unknowingly accomplices.

From the walk out the door to their likely confronting vantage point in the car, it’s crazy to think that they couldn’t just leave the kids at home for this one.

The footage of these kids is now plastered online, impacting their digital footprint in a way that’s damaging and long lasting.

You can almost hear that lady from The Simpsons cry out “won’t somebody please think of the children.”
