Do you remember that scene from The Simpsons where Homer presses a whole orange against his forehead to juice an orange? While ordinarily juicing an orange isn’t *quite* that difficult, it does require a mighty good hand work out when using a traditional citrus squeezer.

There’s something incredibly refreshing about a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice in the morning, so when we discovered the Dreamfarm Fluicer, we knew we had to try it. This oddly shaped contraption works thanks to its unique hinged mechanism that presses the fruit in half from the sides, squashing it and squeezing out its juice.

Perfect for oranges, lemons, limes or other citrus fruits, the two-handed gadget makes it far easier to juice as it requires you to use the larger muscle groups of your arms instead of your hands. Plus, it folds in half so it can easily be tucked away when it’s not in use (great for those with limited space).

We were surprisingly blown away by the Fluicer. Yes, it looks pretty gimmicky and just like another gadget to throw in your drawers but it actually juices really well.

We tried it on an orange, a lemon and a lime and all yielded great results. Just remember to cut your fruit in half first and place the fruit with the skin side against the little raised dots of the Fluicer to help push out the juice. We’ve used plenty of old-school hand juicers and this is far easier and yields more juice.

(Margarita lovers, this means less limes = more juice with this tool!)
