Keeping your fridge organised is no easy feat. But, getting there in the first place is probably the simplest part.
There are so many different storage solutions and gadgets you can buy to ensure that everything has a place to go.
However, there’s one item in particular that ALDI shoppers are telling people not to buy, and it’s for the most common sense reason.

“No drinks fit!”
An ALDI shopper has taken to the ALDI Mums Facebook to post about the brand’s new Can Organiser, which retails for just $4.99 as part of this week’s Special Buys.
Whilst it’s great in theory, it has one huge issue - cans don’t actually fit inside.
“Aldi whyyy,” the woman wrote in her post.
“got the can fridge organiser and no drinks fit. I wish I could say it’s just that one but I had two and neither hold a standard can.”

“A pretty epic fail!”
Fellow ALDI shoppers were shocked and confused over the post.
“I know double dipping is a huge thing now by upping the price and shrinking the items but this is a joke,” said one commenter.
“This one was a pretty epic fail on Aldi’s behalf by the looks. It has one job that it can’t do in Australia,” said another.
“Oh no! Maybe you have to wait for more shrink-flation before you can start using the trays ?!” a third joked.
Some even said they were having the same issue.
“I had this problem too. I think they’re faulty. I returned them,” said one person.
“I have the same problem, very frustrating,” another said.
“I got one too and i ended up standing the classic Cokes cans,” a third said.
“I know!!! I got one too. Even the mini cans don’t fit!! So annoying. Found out it was too small after I ripped off all the stickers and threw away the receipt. So now I am just standing the cans up in it,” another agreed.
“I have noticed the ALDI cans are shorter…”
After the original poster confirmed that they definitely picked up the drink can version, compared to similar yet smaller versions for different types of cans in the pantry, some commenters suggested reasons why the mistake might have happened - though not justified.
“I have noticed the coke cans from Aldi are shorter. Maybe designed for that size,” said one commenter.
“They fit the 330ml cans. Not the 375ml cans,” said another.
“Maybe our cans will start shrinking in the coming months and aldi already knows,” a third suggested.
“Maybe they are made in the uk where the can sizes are slightly smaller,” another person said.
“I bet it fits the US cans which are a tiny bit shorter than Aus cans,” said another.
But, the simplest solution is clear - buy yours somewhere else.
“I got [mine] from Temu. It's adjustable for different size cans. When you take a drink out the next one moves forward,” said one commenter.
“I have the kmart one and it fits 375ml cans,” said another.
“the reject shop sells these and they actually work,” a third user suggested.
