Sander Partners Accountants crowned Toowoomba’s best accountant 2024

An accountancy firm which focuses on small family businesses has been named Toowoomba’s best. Find out what makes them a spreadsheet above the rest:

One accountancy firm has taken the lead above the rest in a competition of tax savings as the start of a new financial year begins.

Sander Partners Accountants and Advisors has proven to be the Garden City’s masters of spreadsheets, numbers and books winning the title by 15 per cent of the votes.

Being able to give simple practical advice and know the clients was a couple of the most important parts of the job, said the sole partner Matt Sander.

The accountancy firm has been established for more than 30 years and has built up a loyal clientbase of small family businesses with the occasional individual taxpayers.

Born and bred in Toowoomba, Mr Sander joined the practice 20 years ago, became a partner 16 years ago and became sole partner a year later.

“We try to treat everybody equally, whether they are a small salary wage taxpayer or a business client,” Mr Sander said.

Coming in second place was Moore Lewis & Partners with 14 per cent of votes, and McConachie Stedman with seven per cent of votes.
