Tickets are now on sale for an incredible light, sound and holographic display that will transform Toowoomba’s Queens Park for three weeks.
Australian company Laservision has revealed further details about Eclipse, an “immersive luna light journey” running from March 22 until April 13.
The show, which has been held in towns across the country, features holograms, lasers, interactive projections, light sculptures, lush soundscapes and other surprises.
“Eclipse is a unique outdoor experience the whole family can enjoy as the Botanic Gardens awaken nightly via a spectacular themed sound and light journey,” the company said.
It comes seven months after the Toowoomba Regional Council agreed to sponsor the concept for $41,000, with the event expected to inject $3m into the city’s economy.
Laservision chief executive Shannon Brooks said her company was excited to partner with the council to give residents a spectacular lights display.
“Eclipse is one of many Luna Light Journeys we’ve produced recently to mass acclaim and sold-out nights in cities across Australia,” she said.
“It’s an honour to work closely with Toowoomba Regional Council, using the iconic canvas of Queens Park to hold this event.
“The team can’t wait to see a smile on the faces of the young and old as they walk through the gate.”
