Henry Winkler to speak at Toowoomba Hospital Foundation fundraiser

Happy Days star Henry Winkler will be in town for one night only to raise money for an important cause, but only a select few will get to hear him speak.

The acclaimed ‘nicest man in Hollywood’ Henry Winkler will be in town tonight to help the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation raise money for Darling Downs Health Cancer Care Services.

Most well known for his role at The Fonz in Happy Days, Winkler has been a constant presence on our screens, with roles in he Absolute Strangers, Scream, Saturday Night Life, You Don’t Mess with the Zohan, Arrested Development and Barry.

Winkler will speak to a sold-out crowd at the Empire Theatre at the foundation’s annual Tilly’s Legends at their Game where he will take guests through achingly vulnerable lows to the stratospheres of global acclaim, the disheartening truth of an upbringing with undiagnosed dyslexia, to the pressures of a role that takes on a life of its own.
